Vacancy: Asbestos Compliance Manager

Due to the growth in our Asbestos removal division we require an experienced Asbestos compliance manager to join us and help continue with the unprecedented growth.

Purpose of the Role:

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the company meets all of the requirements to maintain and renew its asbestos license while ensuring that all site works are carried out in accordance with current legislative requirements. Previous contracting experience working preferred.

Salary is dependent on experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the HSE
  • Maintaining the asbestos removal license
  • Update and maintain the company’s systems and equipment records effectively taking cognisance of any legislative changes
  • Produce accurate asbestos reports, method statements, risk assessments and any other associated paperwork
  • Submitting and updating ASB 1 & 5 notifications
  • Ensuring colleague training is up to date and that each colleague continuous personal development plan is actioned in a timely manner
  • Complete site audits on a regular basis
  • Carry out site surveys if required to assist the survey team

Key Skill Knowledge and Experience:

  • strong technical, quality, auditing, management and asbestos removal background with the following qualifications ; asbestos manager P402 and P405
  • working experience of presenting technical and complex information
  • excellent organisational skills
  • proficient in Microsoft office packages
  • able to work under pressure
  • professional attitude and approach to work
